Our story

“It started at home.”

Fun First Productions didn’t start as a business idea. It started at home.

Michael had been creating games for years, testing ideas, building concepts, and exploring what was possible. But nothing had been brought forward in a serious way yet.

That changed when he began thinking about his daughters.

He had introduced them to other games, but he ultimately wanted to create something they could enjoy together. So he brought them into the process and asked what kind of game they would want to play.

His youngest daughter, Kayla, had the answer: “Let’s make an ice cream game.”

That idea became the starting point for what would eventually become Triple Scoops.

Over time, the game was refined through playtesting and iteration. What began as a simple family idea continued to develop into something solid, something worth sharing.

But the turning point came when Michael began to see his oldest daughter Shyne’s artwork in a new way. â€‹It wasn’t just something personal; it was game-ready art, and he saw that it belonged in the game.

From that point on, the vision became clear: This wasn’t just about making a game. It was about building something together.

Triple Scoops became the first expression of that vision: a game shaped by family, creativity, and shared experience.

(It’s why you’ll see it credited as a Mike & Shyne game, because this wasn’t created alone.)

And from there, Fun First Productions was born.

Today, that same foundation remains.

We create games that are simple to learn, fun to play, and built to bring people together, because that’s where it all started.
